I have been taking photographs for most of my life. 

I bought my first SLR at 14 years old with the money I had saved up from my afterschool job. It was a film camera so back then you had to be careful that you did not waste photos. I remember the anticipation when you took your film to be developed to see how many photos turned out.

I was a professional for a few years in my late 20s, where I sold prints of landscapes and also photographed weddings, portraits, and commercial jobs. 

My passion for photography is still strong, and I have recently brought myself some new equipment, which has led me now to bird and wildlife photography.

 

There is something magical about bird watching, and it is such a buzz to capture the wonderful world that the birds live in.
